EMDR Therapy
I specialize in the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I am a certified EMDR consultant and an agency based faculty member with the Institute for Creative Mindfulness facilitating EMDR basic trainings.
Discovered by Dr. Francine Shapiro, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is one of the most researched and utilized methods in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other disrtressing life events. EMDR can also be effectively used to treat other symptom presentations.
